Polyfoam XPS, the Hartlepool-based manufacturer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation, is exhibiting at UK Construction Week for the first time. The Birmingham event takes place from October 3rd to 5th at the NEC.
Located in the ‘Build’ area of the show, members of the Polyfoam XPS team will be available on the stand across all three days.
“UK Construction Week is the country’s largest built environment event,” said Phil Hodges, National Sales Manager at Polyfoam XPS. “It’s therefore the ideal platform from which to showcase Polyfoam XPS’s growing role within construction, as we go from strength to strength.”
Alongside the Build section, the show also features areas dedicated to digital construction, net zero, and offsite. Insulation manufacturers can directly shape how the industry achieves its net zero targets, but the Polyfoam XPS team are keen to use the event to showcase their wider expertise.
“Extruded polystyrene is a high quality, closed cell insulation material. Its flatness, strength and dimensional stability is driving big growth in specification year-on-year,” said Rob Firman, Technical and Specification Manager at Polyfoam XPS. “What visitors to our stand might not realise is the wider part we play in sustainable building design and construction.”
Phil Hodges added: “Exhibiting for the first time gives us the opportunity to communicate that, and show people that we’re more than just a manufacturer – we’re a partner to the construction industry.”
